PRIMA PERSONA PLURALE
(First Person Plural)

Six performers find themselves in an empty theater, do not know each other but they know Tania Ferrucci through her diary. Five of them are artists, slam poets, actresses...bodies. One of them is a musician, who accompanies live the performative reading of the texts. The texts come from a book called "Nei miei okki," a diary that is also a layered journey of its writer's life. The style in which it is written seems to trace the complexity of the journey of finding gender identity. A profusion of words words words that do not care about punctuation, which in fact is almost an obstacle to the stream of feelings that triggers the reading of this book. Reading this diary means interpreting it, filling in the missing grammar with sound. It means giving voice to the many plural and political voices that question the identities of their bodies. This audio work is the result of a day spent reading, reimagining and reinterpreting Tania's words, each performer with their own voice.
